SOUTHERN DELIGHT influence and reviews

Although my characters are fictional, I use real world issues and influences.

Thirty years ago I watched my older sister (and second Mother) fight cancer. Although the disease eventually took her from us, she left her impact on her children, her friends and family, and everyone else she met. She continued to love, smile, and laugh even in the darkest days. And her strength, and the strength of so many others, are a constant inspiration to me...and in my writing SOUTHERN DELIGHT

My beautiful sister at my high school graduation.

Here are two reviews from early readers. I hope you love this story too!

READER REVIEW
"I was offered the chance to read and review the third book in this series in exchange for an honest review. I simply love Jeannette and her stories. She has a superb writing style that flows and is very engaging and intriguing. As a reader, and a survivor I was drawn into this story right from the beginning, and I have to admit had to quit a few times because I was so emotional. Bailey was me, several years ago, as I too went through the ugly cancer world. The writing was real and very factual, and the story just unfolded in a way that kept me engaged and interested. I loved Bailey and Don and found myself rooting for their HEA. Thank you, Jeannette Winters for bringing another real life issue to your stories, and for showing others that with love and support, we can get through even the worst times."   Sissie K.

READER REVIEW
"I was given an ARC of this book, and I was thrilled to be able to read it and give my honest feedback. The characters in this book kept me rooted to my seat, engaged during the whole story. Be prepared for an engaging and emotional journey as you follow Bailey and Don in this gripping story.

This book truly hit home for me as I have had family who has suffered breast cancer, some survived, and they found it hard to accept what was happening just like Bailey does. A big heartfelt thank you to Author Jeannette Winters for writing real life issues with such finesse and fact, yet still writing an amazing story." ~ Donna Y.
